June 2-3: Boston Irish Festival. A weekend-long celebration of Irish heritage, music and dance featuring some of the nation’s top Irish performers. Held at the Irish Cultural Centre of New England.
June 5-7: Scooper Bowl. Noon until 8 p.m. Admission ticket includes all-you-can-eat ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet and gelato at City Hall Plaza! Proceeds benefit the Jimmy Fund of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. June 9-10: Boston Dragon Boat Festival. Enjoy the spectacular dragon boat races, along with Asian arts, crafts, martial arts demonstrations and dance performances.
June 9-10: German Sommerfest. A celebration of German culture with live music, dancing, German food, beer, wine, kid’s games and pony rides.
June 13: South Shore Indie Music Festival. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine! Featuring music from nearly 20 independent bands, along with food, beverages and art displays. Located on the beautiful grounds of the Fuller Craft Museum.
June 15-16: Waltham Riverfest. Experience the Charles River by canoe and kayak. Enjoy live music, entertainment, food and events around downtown Waltham. Visit website for the full schedule of events!
June 15-17: South Shore Art Center Arts Festival. A favorite for 63 years! Featuring 100 juried exhibitor booths, live music, artist demonstrations, children’s art activities and more.
June 17: Braintree Farmer’s Market. Opens for the season on June 18! You’ll find locally-farmed produce, meats and cheese, along with delicious jams, honey, baked goods, wines and more.
June 22-23: Boston JerkFest. Featuring delicious Caribbean food prepared by Boston restaurants, along with rum, beer, and live music.
