Each year, US News and World Report evaluates the MBA programs of academic institutions throughout the country. Rankings are assigned based on acceptance rates, undergraduate GPA’s, graduation rates, employment status, average starting salary, class diversity and other factors. Rankings are also based on statistical surveys of over 2,000 programs, as well as surveys from academic personnel and business executives. Altogether, US News compared 486 institutions with master’s-level business programs in the United States, accredited by AACSB International.
The findings by US News placed Harvard University and MIT’s Sloan School of Management in a tie for 5th place out of 486 institutions. In addition to being named in the Top 5 for MBA programs for 2022, Harvard also ranked 3rd among “Best Law Schools.” Harvard received the #1 ranking among “Best Medical Research Schools.”
MIT was rated #1 for Engineering Schools, winning top honors for the second year in a row. MIT is consistently recognized for its innovation and academic quality.
