Despite the snow, the Boston Metro area is showing signs of spring with our March 2015 events! Mark your calendar so you don’t miss the fun!

Saint Patrick’s Day Parade – South Boston

Sunday, March 15. The 2015 parade route has been shortened due to local snow obstructions. The parade will start at Broadway Station on West Broadway, head down East Broadway and end at Farragut Road. It still promises to be grand! Our St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the 2nd largest parade in the nation, and is broadcast on live TV. Parade steps off at 1 p.m.

Dropkick Murphys – House of Blues Boston

March 12 & 15. Nothing primes you for St. Patrick’s Day like Celtic alternative rock! This high-energy band is native to Boston and celebrated around the country for their foot-stomping groove. Their famous tune “Shipping Up to Boston” is best enjoyed live! They usually sell-out their shows, so get your tickets in advance.

Boston Flower and Garden Show 2015

March 11-15, Seaport World Trade Center. Experience a magical spring with this year’s theme, “Season of Enchantment.” See over 25 display gardens and a wide array of horticulture tools, décor, garden furniture and hand-made crafts. Experts will be on hand to offer gardening tips and advice. Bring a “bud” and enjoy an indoor oasis of colorful blooms!

Dine Out Boston 2015

March 8-13. Formerly known as “Restaurant Week,” Dine Out Boston features “prix fixe” lunch and dinner menus among participating restaurants. There are scaled price points for lunch and dinner that will help you enjoy the best of Boston cuisine on a budget. Reservations are required at some restaurants; view menus online and plan ahead!

Boston Harbor Whale Watching

Season begins March 28, subject to conditions. Tours provided through the New England Aquarium have a whale-see guarantee! If you do not see a live whale during your cruise, you will be given a free pass to a future excursion. The 3 to 4 hour boat trips take you through Boston Harbor to the protected marine area of Stellwagen Bank. Marine biologists and naturalists are on board to help you whale-spot.

The Boston Metro area offers a vibrant business climate and a great lifestyle for residents. These events are just a small sample! If you’d like to explore Boston Metro commercial real estate, please contact us for complete guidance!
